Getting to Dublin

Travelling from outside of Ireland and the UK

For those coming from outside of Ireland or the UK, flying into Dublin Airport will be easiest. There are direct flights from many major cities.

Travelling from the UK

For those travelling from the UK, flying to Dublin is your cheapest and quickest option. If you’d like more of an adventure (!), you could look into ferries from Holyhead to Dublin, or from England or Scotland to Belfast.

Where to Stay in Dublin

We will send you information directly on where to stay on the night of the wedding.

Dublin has a variety of places to stay, including hotels, B&Bs, and hostels. Rather than recommending specific places, we’ll recommend areas to stay below! Accommodation can be expensive, so we recommend booking sooner rather than later.

For walking distance to the city centre, we recommend: Dublin 1, Dublin 2, Dublin 7, Dublin 8.

If you don’t mind a longer walk or taking public transport, these areas are also nice and accessible: Dublin 3, Dublin 4, Dublin 6

For areas further afield, we recommend basing yourself near one of the Luas tram lines (Red or Green) or near a Dart train station for ease of reliable transportation.

Feel free to message us if you’re wondering about a particular place or area.
